Property Descripcion

In the depths of southern Ecuador sit waterfalls, springs, rivers, protected forests, and wild animals all on over 2000 hectares (4950 acres) of rolling hills and mountains. This property is your destination for the ultimate adventure!

This land presents an opportunity to create an immense nature reserve. In fact, 760 hectares of the land are already protected as a virgin forest. The environmental branch of the government gives the owner of this land a yearly compensation for maintaining its status as a reserve. You could even work to make the rest of the land protected!

One idea for this property is to create a visitor center at the entrance and build small eco-friendly cabins throughout the land for adventurous nature-loving people to stay in so they can immerse themselves in this spectacular place! Developing an extensive trail system throughout the property that visitors can explore would be another great addition to this property.

Much of this property is mountainous with rolling hills. Hidden in these hills you will encounter spectacular waterfalls. One such waterfall is 46 meters tall! There is a separate two-tiered waterfall and another waterfall in other areas of this property too. These waterfalls are truly breathtaking and could easily be featured in a nature magazine. Imagine building cabins near these waterfalls so that people can have their own private experience with a waterfall.

This property is a nature-enthusiasts dream with the vast amount of flora and fauna varieties it boasts. Not only does it have old-growth forests, but it has other useful plants and trees like tropical fruits, medicinal plants, hardwood trees, and more. Planting additional crops is an option as well.

You could even create your own South American version of a Safari to explore the property and observe the wild animals on this land. Wild animals that have been seen on this property include deer, howling monkeys, pumas, mountain cats, wild cats, anteaters, wild hogs, lowland pacas, snakes, squirrels, owls, turkeys, hawks, and other varieties of birds.

Pure water springs and crystalline streams run through many parts of the land and can be tapped into to collect water in reservoirs.

Another interesting fact about this property is that it shares a border with Peru! The Puyango river separates this property from Peru. On the other side of the river is a Peruvian nature reserve, so you will always have a view of nature across the river.

The south entrance of the property is about 30 minutes from the town of Puyango and the west entrance is about 1.5 hours from Puyango. It is convenient to have two different access points to this property so you can more easily access specific parts of the property.
