Property Description

This property has 6.3 hectares (15.6 acres) of rural land outside of Quinara with two houses, productive crops, and the potential to subdivide!

The main house has two bedrooms, living room, dining room, and a bathroom. Next to the house is a covered garage area and a laundry area with an additional bathroom. Behind the house are garden beds growing vegetables and medicinal plants. This means you can pick fresh vegetables for your meals straight from your garden!

The other house is unfinished (about 80% complete, so almost done!). It also has two bedrooms and one bathroom.

The land is very productive with 300 banana trees, 200 coffee plants, and an assortment of native fruit trees including avocados, limes, and oranges. Other productive crops on the land are passion fruit, sugar cane, cassava, and sweet potatoes.

There are three ponds to raise tilapia fish. Together, the ponds have a capacity to hold about 5000 fish. There is also a livestock pen and a storage shed.

Aside from the agricultural aspect of this property, you could make this into a subdivision because it has such a strategic location and sell off lots to make your investment back. The Quinara area is becoming a more popular location for people to buy land at and build a house due to its rural location yet easy access to Vilcabamba via a paved road. If you wanted, you could even save a larger section to have your own homestead, and then sell off what you don’t need. Or just keep the whole property and have a large countryside hacienda!

The upper parts of the property boast wonderful views of the town of Quinara and the surrounding areas! These spots would make prime homesites.

The property has all utilities like potable water, internet, and electricity in addition to access to irrigation canal water. One thing to note is that there is no cell phone signal, but with internet access you can still make calls through Wi-Fi. To some, this is a huge benefit since it is just slightly out of town and away from unwanted EMF exposure.

It is 6 minutes away from the quiet town of Quinara where you can pick up basic groceries. From Quinara, it is about a 20-minute drive to Vilcabamba on a paved road. The paved road makes it more convenient to get to Vilcabamba where there are a diverse variety of shops and restaurants that you can enjoy. All in all, it is in a very peaceful rural area away from the hustle and bustle of town.
