Tucked deep in the mountains outside of the town of Quilanga is this spectacular 35-hectare (86-acre) nature reserve, Loma Delgada. It is about a 2-hour hike or horseback ride to reach the nature reserve. The trail up to the reserve is stunning and boasts many beautiful 360’ views. Upon arriving at the reserve, you can take the main trail along the majestic river up to amazing waterfalls and swimming holes. The crystalline waterfalls are so magical and serene! There is also a slot canyon and caverns on another part of the reserve to explore! With such great rock formations, people frequently come here for rock climbing excursions. With all of this area, you can explore the nooks and crannies of this reserve all day!
